Jesus , Moses, Mohammad (peace be upon them), they all worshiped the same God, the God of Ibrahim (pbuh). All prophets taught "surrendering one's will to God" that is the meaning of word "Islam". JAMES 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Muslims love Jesus (pbuh), they believe in his miraculous birth with the will of God without a father or sexual act (the way Adam was born without a mother and father), , they believe in miracles that Jesus (pbuh) performed with permission of God, muslims faith demands them to believe Jesus (pbuh) was a great prophet of God and belief in the original message of Jesus (pbuh) the massaya.
There was just not one holy book sent by God on earth through His messengers. The last testiment "Quran" had to be there from the same source, revealed to the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh), an illiterate person who didn't know how to read or write) some 600 years after Jesus (pbuh) corrects the errors that crept (knowingly or unknowingly) into the message that Jesus (pbuh) brought. Unlike Bible that was written after decades after Jesus by people who never met Jesus, this book was not preserved on paper or in one church but in hearts of thousands of muslims who memorised Quran word by word the way it was revealved. Quran should prove to be a very valuable asset to both Muslims and Christians.
The teachings of the Church contradict the teachings of Jesus (pbuh) and that is the cause of the confusion.
If a sincere christian who wants to follow Jesus (peace be upon him), asks priests about trinity, the answer that he gets is "It is a Mystery, not explained by Jesus (pbuh) clearly", at that time again those forget that Jesus (pbuh) said,
"I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always meet, and in secret I have said nothing" (John 18:20 (NKJ)).
If trinity is confusing enough to be called a mystery, it cannot be from God. Because:
"God is not a God of confusion."—1 Corinthians 14:33, Revised Standard Version (RS).
There was no mystery in the message of Jesus (pbuh), nothing secret. Will you accept the priests' so called "mystery of trinity" and forget clear commandments of Jesus (pbuh)?
Jesus (pbuh) clearly said:
A) Mark 12:29: "the Lord our God, the lord is One".
B) Metthew: 26:39: "He went a little farther and fell on His face and prayed" (Following Jesus (pbuh) way is following what he did). Jesus (pbuh) prayed to one God
C) Matthew 4:10 "You shall worship the Lord, your God, and him only you shall serve"
D) John 5:19: "Most truly I say to you, the son cannot do a single thing of his own initiative but only what he beholds the father doing."
E) John 7:16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me
F) Matthew 27:46: "Eloi (Allah?) , Eloi, lama sabachthani?" -- which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
(G)Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: John 8:54
The trinity is a doctrine from about the year 325 AD, It has its roots in polytheism, It is not in the bible unless you really, really stretch it to fit. Jesus didn't have to hide the concept of trinity if it were the basis of salvation.
The New Catholic Encyclopedia - 1967, VOL. XIV, PAGE 299:
The formulation "one God in three Persons" was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, PRIOR TO THE END OF THE 4TH CENTURY. But it is precisely this formulation that first claimed to title "The Trinitarian Dogma. AMONG THE APOSTOLIC FATHERS, THERE HAD BEEN NOTHING EVEN REMOTELY APPROACHING SUCH A MENTALITY OR PERSPECTIVE.
You should not accept the word “son” literally . Word "son" was used in bible for general human beings and other prophets also. "we all are the children of father in heavens" indicates that word "son" was used in different meaning of love and care. Mathew: 5:9. "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the sons of God.”
Quran: [4:171] O people of the scripture, do not transgress the limits of your religion, and do not say about GOD except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus (pbuh), the son of Mary, was a messenger of GOD, and His word that He had sent to Mary, and a revelation from Him. Therefore, you shall believe in GOD and His messengers. You shall not say, "Trinity." You shall refrain from this for your own good. GOD is only one god. Be He glorified; He is much too glorious to have a son. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. GOD suffices as Lord and Master. [5:73] Pagans indeed are those who say that GOD is a third of a trinity. There is no god except the one god. Unless they refrain from saying this, those who disbelieve among them will incur a painful retribution.
Today's christians follow people who created a religion "about Jesus

They regard Jesus as an important figure, though on varying levels.
They all contain narrations of various prophets and messengers with very general points of agreement.

First, they all believe in the Lordship of the one and only God (monotheism in the lordship of God). Second, They all agree on the high status of Abraham (pbuh). Abraham was a prophet or man of God, the forefathers of all the proceeding prophets, and the forefathers of the Jews and the Arabs.
The same point cannot be said about Jesus (pbuh) and Muhammad (pbuh); that both have a high status in all three religions. Judaism believes that Marry the mother of Jesus committed adultery thus making Jesus (pbuh) a bastard (Allah for bids us from saying such things). Christians take Muhammad (pbuh) as a liar, as the Quran contains direct refutations towards the lordship or 'sonship' of Jesus (pbuh) (Quran 5:75).
Just some additional informations from the Muslim's prespective:
It is only Islam that has taken its position as a middle ground between Judaism and Christianity to accept and respect all the prophets and to worship the one and only God and not to associate Him in worship with other deities and resort back to the religion of Ibrahim (Quran 16:123). The Quran says that Ibrahim was not a Jew nor a Christian (how could he be? he lived before the tribe of Judah and before the Christ). rather he was a 'Muslim' (in the sense of the literal meaning of the word: one who submits himself to God alone) (Quran 3:67).
*pbuh: peace be upon him (the prayer of the muslims upon mentioning the names of the prophets.
